The Marvin L. Vinson Multi-Purpose Building was built to provide a community gathering place with a safe family atmosphere.
The City of Clarksville has kept the usage to little or no cost for community events relating to health and youth.
The indoor walking track and 20,000 square foot gymnasium with two basketball courts are available for anyone to use when other programming is not scheduled.
Two conference rooms and the gym are available for rentals. The entire building or gym can be rented.

The indoor walking track is 1/10th mile and is located on the second floor above the two basketball courts. The track has a padded surface for more comfort on leg and ankle joints. The gym is air conditioned and heated for year-round comfort.
Many people in the community use the walking track and enjoy a cup of coffee while spending time with friends.
The Marvin Vinson Multi-Purpose Building is used for youth basketball from October to March. The Johnson County Boys and Girls Clubs enjoy the free use of the facility to provide activites for our youth.
The gymnasium has a divider curtain for the two full size basketball courts. With 12 goals, the gym can be setup for 4 smaller courts. This is a perfect place for tournaments because it is 100 miles from Little Rock and 60 miles from Fort Smith. An air conditioned gym for summer ball games is the place to be.
The courts can be rented for birthday parties and youth groups. Inflatables are often brought in. We provide ample space in a controlled environment.
The Marvin Vinson Multi-Purpose Building is part of a larger complex which includes an indoor year-round pool, outdoor water park, softball complex, recycle center, dog park, Johnson County fair grounds, skate park, baseball field, picnic pavilion and ADA playground.
