Broken Sword Kid's Triathlon

Hello parents and aspiring young triathletes!

The City of Clarksville is excited to announce the BST Kid's Triathlon is returning for a second year! This event is part of our effort to build a strong and active community where our children can thrive. We designed this course to encourage kids of all abilities to participate. Join us on Saturday, August 27th at the Clarksville Outdoor Aquatic Center to build confidence and find out what you're made of! 

Every participating child receives a T-Shirt and an awesome Finisher Medal, among other cool awards!

Registration is $35.00​ per child.


Check in begins at 4:30pm
Pre-Race brief at 5:30pm

Race starts at 6pm 

Arrive early to complete Bike Check and Packet pick up (NLT 5pm)

Be sure your child brings the following equipment:

-Bicycle
- Fitted Bicycle Helmet (CPSC certified)
-Running Shoes
Swim suit/goggles/nose plugs/floatation device (if needed) 
- Hydration source


Water and snacks will be available post race.

RACE DIVISION DETAILS:

The Kid's BST Intro Division is designed for little ones to take on their first triathlon!  The course is short and fun with plenty of support and volunteers along the way.  

Course Details:
Swim - 25 Meters (1 length)
Bike - 2 Miles
Run - 0.5 Miles

The Intro Division course consists of swimming one length of the outdoor pool, a 2 mile bike leg on S Cline Road to the roundabout and back. Finally, a half mile run around the Clarksville Baseball Complex to Finish!

The Kid's BST Intermediate Division is designed for 9-12 year old's with slightly longer swim and bike sections. 

​Course Details: 
Swim - 75 Meters (3 lengths)
Bike - 4 miles
​Run - 0.5 miles


The Intermediate Division course consists of swimming 3 lengths of the outdoor pool, a 4 mile round-trip bike trip via S Cline Road to the Pyron Elementary Parking lot and back. They then run a half mile around the Clarksville Baseball Complex to finish!

The oldest group, ages 13- 15 , will compete in the Advanced Division. This one is the toughest, but we know you can do it! 

Course Details: 
Swim - 125 Meters (5 lengths)
Bike - 4 Miles
​Run - 1 Mile

​The Advanced Division requires swimming 5 lengths of the pool, biking down S Cline Road, onto W Clark Street to the Pyron Elementary parking lot and back. Then wrapping up with (2) half mile laps around the Clarksville Baseball Complex!
