Though not operated by the City of Clarksville, Horsehead Lake is just a short drive outside of the city limits and is home to fishing, swimming, and camping. Nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks this lake offers a secluded peaceful retreat for people of all ages. There is a boat ramp as well as picnicking spots and a playground for the kids. There is a 'no wake' limitation on the lake so visitors are encouraged to operate smaller motors or trolling motors while enjoying their day of boating and fishing. |
