On behalf of the entire membership of the Clarksville Fire Department, I would like to thank you for taking time to visit our website. The Clarksville Fire Department proudly serves the citizens and visitors of the great City of Clarksville, Arkansas. I can truly say that as one of the finest Volunteer Fire Departments in the State, we always strive to stand true to our vision statement “Dedicated to the preservation of life and property.”
As the Fire Chief of the City of Clarksville, it is an honor, and privilege to work with the most dedicated Fire Department members. I hope you will be as proud as I am, to have them serve this outstanding community. The Fire Service is constantly evolving with new technologies and tactics, our members strive to stay on top of any new ways to better protect life and property, and we are blessed with a City such as Clarksville that provides us with the tools in order to carry out any operation that will make our citizens and visitors safe.
While fire suppression is our main task, we also have equipment for vehicle extrication, rescue, and respond to any emergency that may arise. Although we are a volunteer department, our response times rival those of full time departments, and with our station locations and equipment, we stand ready to help, whatever the emergency.
The Clarksville Fire Department was formed by the City of Clarksville in 1914, and for over 100 years now we have been serving the citizens and visitors of Clarksville and will continue to provide the best service we can to protect life and property in Clarksville.
