The Clarksville Airport is conveniently located 1.8 miles east of the Courthouse Square on Main Street (Hwy. 64). With a 4500 foot runway and full length parallel taxiway it can easily handle most aircraft in the general aviation category. AVGAs-JETA, terminal building and courtesy car are accessible to pilots at any time. The main ramp area offers ample parking and tie downs free to our guests. Maintenance is available on the field should the need arise. The runway operates from dusk till dawn. There is also a GPS approach published for both runway 9 and 27, and PAPI approach lights 24 hours a day
This is a municipal airport, owned and operated by the city of Clarksville.
Jim Looney is the Airport Manager under the direction of the Clarksville Airport Commission. Bryan Burnett is the Chairman with the following members; Roy Johnson, Steve Fisher, Bob Laster, Trey Hargraves, Bob Charlton and Robert Watkins.
