The City of Clarksville and a team of BBQ competition veterans are hosting the 2nd Annual Clarksville Grill Wars in Clarksville on September 26, 2026. The competition will have 3 independently judged events including ribs, pork, and chicken.
We have added a new category this year especially for "16 and under" competitors. OPEN CATEGORY will consist of anything they want to cook in the smoker.
We have also moved this event from the Levee to the JC Fair Grounds to allow for more space.
This event is intended to bring BBQ competitors to the area to compete for bragging rights and prizes. It is expected to draw at least 12 teams of competitors and their families, with anticipation of over 50 individuals traveling to Clarksville to participate in the event.
The competition will begin early in the morning, judges will score competitors in the afternoon. This all-day event encourages participants to arrive a day ahead of time to ensure they can set up and begin cooking.
