Cpl. Trent Wood Receives Life Saving AwardOn 03/18/2019 Cpl. Trent Wood was presented with the State of Arkansas Naloxone Life Saving Award. On 12/11/2018 Cpl. Trent Wood responded to a medical emergency in which the victim suffered an opioid overdose that resulted in them being non responsive. Cpl. Trent Wood deployed his department issued Naloxone and doing so saved the life of the victim.
Bike PatrolThe Clarksville Police Department would like to welcome Frankie Tucker as our Part Time Bike Patrol Officer. Some of Patrolman Tucker’s duties will consist of providing a police presence in the city’s trail areas and special events. The city has 15 miles of trails, both paved and dirt surfaces. #welcome #bikepatrol

Felony Arrest Nets 1/4 Pound of MethamphetamineOn 02/28/2019 Officers made contact with Roberto Pina-Sanchez at a local convenience store parking lot. Roberto had an active Felony Warrant for his Arrest from the Clarksville Police Department for a prior incident of Identity Fraud. During the arrest a large amount of methamphetamine was located along with drug paraphernalia, drug packaging equipment and scales. Roberto was taken into custody and transported to the Johnson County Detention Center to be held for a Bond Hearing scheduled today (03/01/2019). The Clarksville Police Department would like to thank the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with this incident.
